About Our Resin Bound Work
Resin bound surfacing gives you the look of natural gravel with none of the loose stones. Aggregate is fully coated in UV-stable resin and trowelled to a smooth, seamless, permeable finish.
It is laid over a new or sound existing base, and because water passes straight through, it is SUDS-compliant and typically avoids the drainage complications of an impermeable driveway.

Resin Bound — Frequently Asked Questions
How long does resin bound take to install?+
Over a sound existing base, most driveways are surfaced in one to two days. If a new base is required, allow three to five days in total.
Can it be laid over my existing driveway?+
Yes, over sound tarmac or concrete. We assess the base first — resin only performs as well as what sits beneath it.
Is it slippery when wet?+
No. Water drains through rather than sitting on the surface, and we can specify anti-slip aggregate for slopes and shaded areas.
How long does it last?+
Correctly installed on a good base, expect 15 to 20 years or more. UV-stable resin keeps the colour from yellowing.
